Detention / Bail / Deportation

Justice

Sometimes foreign nationals are detained because they have committed an immigration offence.

There are different reasons why someone could be detained, for example: because they entered the UK illegally; because they overstayed their visa; because they breached the conditions of their visa; or because they committed a criminal offence and are being considered for deportation.

We are highly qualified and experienced in dealing with a range of detention issues including:

  • Advice for those being considered for removal from the UK
  • Assistance with written applications in deportation cases
  • Representation at deportation appeals
  • Assistance and advice on applying for bail for immigration detainees
  • Making written applications for bail to the Home Office
  • Making applications to the court for bail

We are willing and able to visit people at the police station, prison or immigration removal centre.
